Modern Logic Publishing
Privacy policy
Modern Logic Publishing is a local desktop workflow used by the Modern Logic channel owner. It uses YouTube API Services. This policy covers that workflow and this public information website.
Information used
With Google OAuth consent, the workflow reads the selected channel’s ID, name and public channel details, and video identifiers, metadata and processing or privacy status needed to verify publishing. Owner-supplied video files, thumbnails and publishing text are used for the uploads the owner instructs. Google authorization credentials are used to maintain the connection. The workflow does not collect Google account passwords.
Purpose and sharing
Data is used to connect the intended channel, carry out approved publishing work and verify results. Upload files and metadata are sent to YouTube when an upload is authorized. When the owner operates the workflow with Codex, relevant operational context, such as channel identity, publishing metadata and status, may be processed by the owner’s AI-assistant provider to perform those instructions. OAuth tokens are kept in local credential storage and are not intended to be included in assistant prompts or public files.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or supplied for unrelated purposes. The use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and retention
Access and refresh tokens in the working credential store are encrypted with Windows user-bound DPAPI outside the source repository. The original downloaded desktop client JSON may also be retained locally; it is excluded from Git. Channel verification records and publishing receipts are local files. API-derived records must be refreshed or removed within 30 days; the local status check refreshes channel identity. Owner-created source videos and publishing documents remain the owner’s project files.
Revocation and deletion
Remove the app at Google Account permissions to revoke access. The channel owner can also disconnect the local tool and remove its stored connection data. Requests to remove stored API data can be made through xdiego.pwu@icloud.com; removal is handled as soon as possible and within seven days. Removing local data does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. Manage those separately in YouTube Studio.
